Belson Steel is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to join our team and lead our maintenance operation.
We’re looking for someone who is more than just a maintenance professional — we want a leader who can build a team, develop people, and show them the path to success.

- Solid background in maintenance
- Heavy equipment experience is required
- Ability to delegate tasks, responsibilities, and roles effectively
- Ability to establish expectations and hold people accountable
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Someone who leads by example and takes ownership
Pay is experience-based and will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

We're growing our commercial scrap business and need someone who's hungry to sell, builds real relationships, and follows through. If you've sold to manufacturers, contractors, fabricators, or foundries, we want to talk.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Grow and manage a book of industrial & commercial scrap suppliers
Visit plants to evaluate scrap streams and needs
Prepare bids, negotiate pricing and service terms
Coordinate with ops and transportation on delivery Track market pricing and follow up consistently
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Sales experience in scrap, commodities, or industrial B2B
Strong negotiator and relationship-builder
Self-motivated, comfortable working independently
Confident meeting owners, plant managers, buyers
Valid license, reliable transportation, willing to travel
Position Details
Fulltime driving position 45-60 hours a week
OT over 40
Local runs / Home every night
Trailers include dump, rolloff, flatbed, lowboy, landooll, flatbeds, vans, gondolas
Run within the short haul exemption where there are no logs that need to be filled out
Hauling scrap metal
Minimum 2 years with CDL
Clean MVR
